• Dressing room, shower room and sauna

  • The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.

  • The accessible dressing room is located in connection to the men's/women's dressing rooms. The door of the dressing room is heavy or otherwise hard to open. In the dressing room, the door of the accessible section opens easily by hand.

  • The accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible. A toilet marked as accessible is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.

  • The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.

  • The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat and armrest as well as a support railing.

  • The sauna is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door opens easily manually.

  • The sauna has room for one wheelchair.

• The route to the main entrance

  • The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.

  • The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide.

• The main entrance

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.

  • The doors connected to the entrance are hard to perceive and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.

  • The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.

• In the facility

  • The sports facilities are located on floor -1.

  • For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)

  • The service point has directions to the different facilities.

  • The facility has a toilet marked as accessible on floor -1. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the door is not easy to open and close, the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.

  • The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the sports facilities.

  • The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.

• Sports facilities

  • The door of the gym is heavy or otherwise hard to open. Unobstructed mobility with a wheelchair or other aids is not possible in the gym. The equipment is within everyone's reach (storage height 0.8-1.2 m).

  • The gym features contrast differences between the floor and wall and between the floor and equipment. There is no glare in the gym.
