Service point description
Kumpula Outdoor Swimming Pool is a popular sports facility that attracts visitors throughout the summer. It is located via excellent transport connections some five kilometres from Helsinki city centre. In addition to the various pools and the diving tower, you can also find a café, playground, outdoor gym and beach volley and basketball courts in the area. Swimming in shorts is forbidden, with the exception of swimming shorts. Kumpula Outdoor Swimming Pool was built as a training pool for the Olympic Games of 1952, and it is the third oldest public outdoor pool in Finland. How to get there: There is a parking area near the pool. You can also access the beach by public transport or a city bike.
Sanitation: sand filter sanitation and chlorine. Other important details: A photography permit from the Sports Services is required to take photos. Please note that we do not provide information about found goods by phone; you can ask for your lost goods by visiting us on-site.
Services: shower and sauna facilities, stands/sun terrace, 25-metre pool, children's pool, paddling pool, diving pool (4.4 metres deep), diving boards (1, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10 metres), basketball court, beach volley court, playground, café, all-season David City Line outdoor gym, and parking area. Diving towers (5 m, 7 m, 10 m) open roughly at 12.00-12.20 14.00-14.20 16.00-16.20 18.00-18.20 Springboards (1 m, 3 m) open from 10.00 onwards.

Please make sure you have a 50 cent coin as a deposit.
